Electing a New Club President

Are you interested in running for an officer position with the ACHCA club?

Our president, Hunter Obeid, will be graduating this semester, and we are looking for someone to fill his spot! Additionally we are looking to add a vice president to assist the president with the demands of the growing numbers of the club. This is a great opportunity for students to bolster their resume by getting involved with a popular health care club at Penn State.

What are the typical roles for the president?

- Lead monthly club meetings and find professional conferences for members to attend

- Regularly communicate with academic advisor to discuss bringing in guest speakers

- Oversee the club's email account, website, and social media page to keep members updated

- Serve as liaison between the club, and the health policy and administration department

What is expected from a vice president?

- Charged with recruiting new members to join the ACHCA club

- Lead fundraising efforts to support club functions such as funding new apparel orders

- Assist the president with researching new guest speakers to present at meetings
