Dr. Spokus is a Senior Instructor in Health Policy & Administration. She teaches Health Policy, Human Resource Management, and Health Services Organization. Dr. Spokus serves as a Health Educator and Hospital Board Chair, and she is part of the PA Rural Health Board of Directors and Commission for Women. She was a past Internship Coordinator for 10 yrs. In addition, Dr. Spokus leads the Human Resource Management in Healthcare embedded trip to Sweden during the spring semester and "Maymester". She has her Personal Care Home Certification, and her research focuses on the aging workforce, design & shortages, job satisfaction, and retention and quality of work life.
